The DeFrahn Family
Jim, Beth, Abigail, Elizabeth, James, Gabriel and Timothy
Hi! We're the DeFrahns. We live on twelve acres in rural southern New York, just above the Pennsylvania border. We have five children, ages six to twenty-four, and have been homeschooling for fifteen years. For some time now, we've wanted to pursue a home business together that was God-honoring and beneficial to the lives it touched. Since we all enjoy photography, videography, being creative, working together, and making music, the field trip project seemed to combine all our interests. We're really enjoying it!
We look for wholesome, interesting, educational field trips that will supplement any curriculum and allow learning to happen in a pleasant, fun setting.
We hope this will be a blessing to others, giving opportunities for them to "visit" and learn about locations that perhaps they otherwise wouldn't be able to. It is our desire that the Scripture-based songs and unit study ideas will also be a help to parents as they seek to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and educate them with a worldview based on the Word of God.
